I know artie and tater are on here haveing alot of fun, but would you guys be this biasest if there was not a race on the same day as the 300? Weather its Iofs, WF8T, or whomever someone has got to do something for figure8 racing. For people to care so much about the sport to be bashing each other the way they are right now is sad. Sorry to invade your play ground dave, but thanks for standing up and tring something.

767 you didnt invade my playground and Im honored to have you stick up for us it means alot coming from you. You have been positive about this from day one and its because you see the whole picture and your facts are always in order when you comment on something good or bad. If anyone has a problem or thinks we are doing something wrong please get with us. We are more than willing to listen and correct what needs corrected. It is very important this venture succeeds for the good of Late Model Figure 8's and more importantly the 3 Hour.

Can we get the OOS schedule posted on here?.We did not want to put it on here without permission from the admins.

The payout format will be coming soon, hopefully the sponsorship package we were promised will be worked out later this week and it will help us in determining how much the races pay.

We've got several drivers already chomping at the bit to be part of this deal.A couple world champions and several track champions are already on board with the OOS.

We are willing to work with other outlaw promoters as long as we dont step on any established races or already scheduled "big events".

Yes by all means feel free to post any details about the new series. This is what the site was intended for.

I never said I wanted the IOFS to fail,I said I THINK it will fail due to the fact that they don't hold the cards.JC,MG and other folks with deep pockets and tracks of their own are the only ones that could make something like the IOFS work.If it works then thats fine and congratulations but please dont say it's a series for the FANS and then try to schedule a race in Wis-Freaking-Consin!,I know the Florida tour is a further drive but they are not saying that their series is a series for the fans and then schedule a race several states away from the core fans of the series(Indy,Southern In.,Anderson).If you have not noticed We are in a bit of a financial pinch in the U.S. right now and your series will need all the help it can get to even 1/2 way succeed and you go and schedule on top of a big race at a track that could have helped your series more than running 15 times at Slinger,Plymouth,KMS all combined. The "We had to take the date Anderson gave us" excuse does NOT hold water!,If Anderson was so excited to have the IOFS then they surely would have worked around other track schedules.Anderson needs all the help they can get so unless the Anderson promoter is a complete idiot then he WOULD have worked around others to help his own track schedule the biggest shows of his tracks racing season.I'm fat and I gotta eat,so I'll be back after supper

I was not trying to support the 1 Hour series that JC put on. That was his deal. I did make the 2 shows that I could make.... Therefor, I did try and help support the series. JC scheduled everything around the Sportsdrome because he was trying to get Sportsdrome cars....
That is my biggest point here....Charlie thinks that he is only loosing one car from the Sportsdrome, so why worry about him???? The reason is because you could have 3 or 4 more cars, maybe even an Extreme car or two show up. And then you would have about 100 people show up in the stands. No telling how many in the pits for his race....The way I see it, he screwed himself!

As for running all year at Sportsdrome.... I ran the Mid-Western Series... That's what my sponsors wanted. After all, they pay the bills and I can only race when they want me to...I also only wanted to run the shows with the wings. In turn, I talked enough BS over the season and the winter months to get MG to let us run wings all year this year. I guess I CAN do a little talking myself.
I'll be there EVERY saturday this year running for points because we can run the wings...

Man, can everyone stop pissing on the parade???? There are 2 series that are running, and maybe Charlie made a mistake in having a race when you set one up Artie, but since you seem to be a promoter also, did it occur to you that maybe that is when that track had a opening?????? It is not totally in Charlies hands, and you should know that. And why are you so against the Wisconsin race???? Yep. it is a little far. But damn, lets be realistic, we need all the exposure we can get. Figure 8 racing is not doing well right now, hell no form of racing is doing well right now. Maybe you guys have been in a box, but NASCAR had layoffs. IRL is losing teams. And if it wasnt for the Tunnys having a bazillion kids, there would have only been 8 or 9 cars for some of the races. JC kind of screwed that for himself. Stiles had a rule that if you were a Stock champ, or if you reached a set amount of points, you had to move up to late models. Those who were not good at the 8 moved on to other tracks, others moved up to late models and stayed at the Speedrome. Artie, you and Charlie need to sit down over a beer, and work together to help out both series. And then work to have a schedule for 2010 that benefits both series, and the drivers. Good luck to both of ya, and I will be at some of the races to see how you both do at being a promoter!!!!!!

Well said and very educated observations I might add.

I believe it can be a good thing for the overall life of figure 8 racing. I do agree that like at wisconsin and whitesville that there probably wont be a whole lot of guys that make it that far. The tire deal sounds very good. now if guys are soaking them for the races and making them a one race tire, it doesn't do us any good. puts us right back where we were unless soaking is just hurting the tires which does happen sometimes. but, good looking deal so far. one thing though like wisconsin only paying 1200 or 1500 is a long haul for a won race deal. you guys compare that to the Auburndale deal but really it's nothing like it. In florida, you have 3 nights of racing, plus its in Florida in the winter time so it gives you incentive to want to get outta here just to be down there to begin with. Wisconsin doesn't really. Plus a lot of racing people will be down in Florida on that weekend when the race at Auburndale takes place. But, overall I think Charlie and all involved have great intentions and I too, hope it is successful. I love it as much as anyone. people are jacked up on crack. I'm jacked up on racing! lol. the only thing IOF8S hurts is the weekly series at the Speedrome, which is something else that I would rather see grow than fade. But, still I'm glad to see new and more events taking place and hope to attend all that I can! Thanks Charlie!

Artie i don't think any of us do it 4 the fame or money, cut charlie some slack man. I think his intentions are good. Original 22 MIDNIGHT SPECIAL RACING

ben, it might help the weekly series at the drome. there are some old cars starting to come out of the woodwork. some of us have never tried to worry about points championships. we just want to race and have fun. when the season starts we probably won't have our latemodel done but when we do we probably will show up at the drome too.

He is doing an awesome job.... He has opened doors for us to get in and get sponsors that REALLY want to step up for some of the Jeffersonville guys! The tire deal will be great for all of us. Not knocking what he's done, just knocking how he done some things and who's toes he stepped on along the way.... Maybe this will be good for ALL of Outlaw racing? I am just glad that he made me mad enough to get my deal going. I didn't realize that I could get so many people involved so quick.... I guess it DOES help when I have to 2 greatest Promoters of Figure 8 Racing in my corner!
