Why is that tunnyturd? that would be one more car that the Speedromers could spend $30,000 to beat and win $1500 in doing it.

tater i am a nobody like you to. I can tell you this, going into the last week of the year, here is what I THOUGHT I knew about the sportsdrome. My Source is Hawk, he talks with everyone down there. It was my understanding that the Sportsdrome was not going to run into the month of Oct. The World 300 was nothing at that time. Anderson screws up when they posted there schedule. Guess what Iofs was not the only thing left off. Now hoestly, when would the world 300 be if anderson did not screw up? Let me guess hmmmmm the weekend before? Just as stupid of a date with the Jackson 100 in brownstown that weekend. Big race paying 20,000 to win plus tv will be there. I am really over all this crap. I will stand behind my complaints about the sportsdrome promoter until he steps up to the plate. I am also publicly offering him help to get this race on the map. I am a nobody, but am willing to help him, i attend several big races every year, and i do know the basics. If he would have done the basics, we would all know if IOFS intentianly did this or not. I also offer the same help to IOFS. There is no reason this can't work.

If you try and schedule around big dirt track events then you will NEVER have an open date, them guys have 200 big events EVERY year,so you cant use the Jackson 100 as an example.Hawk is a good guy but he does not talk to everyone down here,NOBODY talks to everyone down here.MG is my friend and I can tell you that he could give a sh1t less what people think about his promotional skills! He's as concerned about what people think about him as Hitler was.The Sportsdrome packs the stands for every big show and have been doing it without the Outlaws or spending tons of $$ or time in doing so.I think MG does as well as can be expected in a small market community like we have down here, now if he was in a major city like Indianapolis and and did not get out and promote his azz off then I could see criticizing him,but for what he's got and what he does with it I can see no room for you to judge his promotional skills. Now get outside and shovel some snow like I'm going too.

tater u miss the point. Right now the Jackson 100 is the biggest dirt race in Indiana and its less than an hour drive away. + they have the x factor TV. And if you are so on board with the way tha MG is promoteing the quite CRING about races getting scheduled on top. MG has done a hell of a job with the sportsdrome. Right now i truely think this place is the hidden gem in Indiana for weekly racing. None of the dirt tracks are holding an adverage weekly car count like the sportsdrome. Here is where the sportsdrome FAILS. Go to Indy, ask them to name 1 single race date at the sportsdrome, just 1. Let me go to the sportsdrome and ask u guys to tell me when the 3hour is. garuntee you i will have the answer within 10 people.

IF IT WASN'T FOR THE FANS AT THE SPORTSDROME, I WOULD HAVE NEVER LEARNED ABOUT THIS PLACE. Can't remember the guys name, but he were a weird hat and has a cigar all the time. If the promoter of your place does not go out of his way to let people know about his event or events, why in the heck should other tracks or series worry about these races? Its not hard guys, and i garuntee u the things i am talking about don't cost any more than a phone call, a few stamps, and a couple of trips. If you want to be a big track ACT LIKE ONE! You already have your fans on board take the next step. Once again I offer Free help here!

ps took me an hour to clean al the way to the drive way. got a Foot here how much did u get tater?

I think YOU miss the point! My point is that MG is happy with what he has,it's the fans that were pissed. You can ask fans at 200 different tracks when the 3-hour is and they will know, any other date that the Speedrome has is NOT known without looking at their schedule.I'm not comparing the 2 Dromes,I like 'em both and attend races at both.
The thing with MG is that he has won at everything he has done at the Drome so why would he change the way he does things? If he thought there was something to gain by spending $6000 to promote the 300 then he would do it,but with the crowds he gets for his big events why would he spend more than he has to in order to fill the stands(which he already does).
We got about 8 inches of snow and ice,and YES my back is killing me!

bad econmey you can do it for less than $100. Ok tater now u make more sence. MG is happy. ok I am fine with that. You being a good friend sure sounded like you were talking for him. Now that we understand each other how do we get the word out up north. Because unless you are on one of these 2 boards NO One knows about this race. Anderson and the speedrome give away free stuff all the time . send some tickets up here. These tracks are suckers for advertsieing stuff like this to have stuff to give away. Set a weekend for every year ex; 1 saturday in Oct every single year. let everyone at the sportsdrome know this is how you remember when the date is, so it is easier for them to tell people. Make it a tradition. Go to a couple of race and ask to throw out some cheap t-shirts ( i can get them made for $4 each). If you really want to drawl fans in give away abunch of free tickets to the friday night race ;) there wasn't hardly anyone there last year anyway. Now where do i sponsor some laps, i need to advertise for my autocross race the following weekend in Scottsburg?

we lucked out of the ice, our ice came down in pellets. got about 4 inches of snow 2 inches of ice pellets and then another 6 inches of snow. my back started hurting abou the time I reached the fork truck. now its all good!

ok so can we convince him to do some minor advertiseing? I loved last years race. I see the potential, he needs a packed house like the 3hour. I know several friends up here that go to the 3hour, that had never herd of the world 300 other than what I told them.
