Just want to say thank you to those who support us, and those who have complaints. This will show us what we need to improve on. This year the not all the dates we got are idea, we understand that, but being a new series we don't have much pull and have to settle for what we can get. Our goal is by next season, after a few good races at new tracks, we will have some more input on our race dates. Hardly any of the dates were up to us, but in order to get races, and help out our series and our drivers, we had to do it. I understand your complaints about some of the dates, but if everyone works together we can take figure-8 racing to the next level, but if we all sit and fight each other, figure-8 racing will ultimately fail.

The tires are a great deal, no other local track, or series can match that offer. A ture 10" racing slick, much like the 3-Hour tire, but harder, for only $75, that is looking after your people involved. And Tunny 5 there WILL BE NO SOAKING, you can bet on that.

The Wisconsin is a great chance for us to show off our talents, unique cars, and awesome figure-8 racing to a new venue, and new crowd, and expand figure-8 racing to new areas. Never before has there been an Outlaw Race in the state. If you look at the schedule, there are two TBA dates around that race, we are close to inking a deal for either Saturday or Sunday, so that will be at least a two race swing up north, or it will most likely be held off until 2010. We understand the economies state right now, and we are just trying to expand and offer new tracks for our drivers to race at. It will be a great, funfilled weekend when it comes around.

Know hopefully we can all put our heads together and make this work, you are not going to create a perfect series that makes everyone in the racing world happy, ever, especially overnight. This will take some time, energy, effort, and team work. We need all the drivers, fans, sponsors that we can get.

Artie, you are a good driver, you have good ideas, but you make things seem so easy, believe me in a perfect case all the tracks would work together and have the best show, but that will not happen overnight, but all the bickering and argueing is just hurting figure-8 racing. Either you support us, or you don't, we are trying to work with everyone, we even tried to get you in the loop on the Kentucky track, and we would love to have Sportsdrome driver run with us at KMS and BBR, and everywhere for that matter. We have no hard feelings towards anyone, we hold no grudges, but many of us needed a change. I just wish you could understand that, and try to give us a chance, even if you do not like everything that we are doing, we need to make peace and move on before all is lost.

Thank you to everyone, and we hope to see you at the IOFS races in 2009, but if not, be sure to support figure-8 racing.

Charlie Hargraves
IOFS Series Director

SpeedChaser, thanx for the words of encouragement.... I feel if I had the car, I can run against the likes of Dossey and the Tunny's. But the cars we run from down here are a little out dated. Being that we only run 1 time a year. It is not very smart for us to build a $50,000 car. Therefor, we just take our 10 year old cars up to the 3 hour to have a little fun...
But now that this is going hot and heavy, I have since talked my car owner into having Audie Moose build us a brand new 2010 chassis. This car will top EVERYTHING that is on the 23 car. With Bass Pro Shop coming along, money will be NO object!
You guys are great up North, you have pushed me to a level that I thought I could never achieve....I did not realize how easy it would be. I guess I have just never put forth this much effort! Thanx again...

I almost forgot.... Is 46012, how many races you have run without a win? lmao...

alright boys this is suppose to figure8 racing news website, this one like the other are beginning to get run over,it is getting to be like that site dromedirt that is a bunch a goofballs posted nonsense all day, lets get back to the topics, racing, there is so much to talk about, what about all the changes in nascar, all the news on local tracks, enought of the bickering, i say erase everything, and start over before it gets out of hand, on both sides. only news, about any form of racing, no more name calling, no more negitivity, if i wanted that i would the papers, i get on here to see what is going on with the world of figure8. racing, racing, racing, it is only a month before the season, and still just people bickering, not many facts being presented, except by the iofs, but everytime they post something a group gets on and ruins it, anyways, lets get back to what these sites or for, RACING NEWS......., LEAVE ON THE TRASH UP TO THE OTHER SITES, IF THEY WANT IT...........
hey artie you may want to call and let moose know, he is exclusive to vanmeter, so you may want to try someone else, but for that money i think anyone would build you a car.

Yeah, lets not have opinions people!.. lets just post what everybody WANTS to hear,if you dont have anything nice to say about the IOFS or anything else just don't say anything at all right figure 8 fan

Dromedirt.com has been going strong for over 6 straight years. You are right about it being full of goofballs(I'm one of 'em) but they have been on that long because they know how to have fun as well as being informative. All the admins on this site have to do is ask me to leave and I will find another site to play on,I just like to call it like I see it whether it hurts someones feelings or not.One thing is for sure about the difference between some of the sites though, some of 'em are ran by men who act like women!,if any site admin is offended by that then it's probably because they know it hits home with them....

Facts: Ware, Johnson, Harmon, Harmon, and Crain can run with anyone. Give them a little seat time and they would blend right in with the tops at the speedrome. Just like if the top speedrome guys headed south. The top 5 drivers from each track would blend right together no matter what type of car they are in with seat time. Everyone is to blame for this mess but hopefully in the end things will work out good. The only reason Artie's thing may come together is because JC not MG wants it to. That could be the ONLY driveing force. This is ok though. Charlie has done well with everyone working against him. Me as a new promoter know exactly what it is like to get dates. And until MG starts really promoteing the world 300 like he should, I will never consider him one of the top promoters. He has everything setting right infront of him, start utilizing it! Not 1 single mention of the world 300 on the front page of the website. You stock drivers are tring to make this the super bowl of stock racing and you have a promoter doing nothing with it. The drivers are tring to make it big so i gave it a special section, drivers are still pushing for it to be big, but where is the track support. PUSH it so the other tracks in IN, will avoid it!

so the oos is supportted by mg and jc, why would jc support it if he already has a figure-8 touring series of some shorts in the works with the wf8t, just food for thought.........he is not going to support another rival series, when he is still working on his series....any idiot knows that......
